Balci v. Sheikhau

1st Period: 30 seconds in and we're handfighting...little half shot attempt by Sheikhau, now a real shot by Sheikhau but Balci defends...Sheikhau dives in on a bad shot, Balci spins behind for the TD...tries to launch him...but just slams him with no exposure...1-0 Balci with 30 seconds to go...another shot attempt by Sheikhau...shot by Sheikhau but Balci stops him in front, and holds him off to win the period 1-0.

2nd Period: 30 seconds in...handfighting and we're scoreless...couple shot attempts by Sheikhau as Dart and Joe joke about wrestlers smoking cigarettes in the parking lot in between matches...45 to go and still scoreless...shot by Sheikhau as Balci gets spastic with head slaps...reshot attempt by Balci but Sheikhau runs out of it...Balci gets a throw by single and gets the TD with 4 seconds left and wins the period 1-0.

Balci wins 1-0/1-0

Gogshelidze v. Ebrahimi

1st Period: Iran chants starting up as we get going...30 seconds in with no real offensive attempts yet...foot sweep attempt by Gogshelidze, and then nearly exposes Ebrahimi with a low ankle shot but Ebrahimi scrambles with him and only gives up the TD...1-0 Gogshelidze...half shot by Ebrahimi, Gogshelidze clamps on a front head, restarted with 30 seconds...Gogshelidze wins 1-0

2nd Period: Going again...low single attempt by Ebrahimi but Gogshelidze skips out of it...1:22 to go...lot of hand holding in the tie ups...45 seconds to go...15 seconds to go...even more hand holding in the tie up...going to the ball grab.

Gogshelidze wins the grab...Gogshelidze takes him to the mat, switches to a double and gets the TD.

Gogshelidze wins 1-0/1-0

this was the real bronze medal match!!! Get rid of the two double bronze system!!! Ebrahimi would beat balci!!!!!

Gazyumov v. Gatsalov

1st Period: 30 seconds in and we're scoreless...no real attempts at offense yet...little juke by Gazyumov...second juke by Gazyumov...Gazyumov with the first real shot but Gatsalov sprawls back and out...Gazyumov in on a deep shot and elevates and scores...2-0 Gazyumov...Gatsalov steps over a gut attempt by Gazyumov and doesn't get any points...Russia challenges it...challenge is worked out, Gazyumov wins 2-0.

2nd Period: Back going again...Gazyumov with a little slide by for a TD...1-0 Gazyumov...1:20 to go...shot attempt by Gazyumov, Gatsalov blocks him out...55 seconds to go...outside single by Gatsalov, snags an ankle and then runs around in a circle after Gazyumov and catches him for the TD...1-1...shot attempt by Gazyumov, Gatsalov tries to spin behind but can't...few more shot attempts by Gazyumov, but Gatsalov holds them all off to win the period.

3rd Period: Starting off a little slower here this period...nothing after the first 30 seconds...still just tie ups after the first minute...Gazyumov takes our first shot, but Gatsalov steps around and away...Gatsalov in deep on a single, but Gazyumov does a nice job kicking his leg back...Gazyumov in on a shot, Gatsalov has him sprawled out flat, but they're stopped...going to the ball grab.

Gazyumov wins the ball grab...Gatsalov kicks his leg out, he's up with Gazyumov in a front headlock...10 to go...Gatsalov wins it and shoves Gazyumov...

Gatsalov wins 0-2/1-1/1-0

Gatsalov is the freakin' man. He's got this clinch defense thing figured out!

LOL- It was a work!!!

Damn I hate school, but I'm real glad Gatsalov won and the other two Russians medaled, although gold would've been alot better for those guys. I'm real happy to see Gatsalov back to his winning ways. He is just insane. 4 world titles already. It's ashame he didn't go to Beijing.
