Good video, but are there any international matches on it?
Anybody still think D Schlatter is not big or strong enough for 165? Thanks for shareing that therick. That is one tough Ohio Kid! Nice vid of Jake deitchler and dustin working out together also. I would say the Gophers are doing well this year in the middle weights with Mason, Detchler and Schlatter. We already know about Sanders and Ness so keep counting the Gohpers out this year . I love it!Go Minnesota Storm and the Golden Gophers!
CP that is a great Video of your not so little brother
Wow. I haven't seen DS be that aggressive in some time. Injuries and sucking to 49 took a major toll on him the last two years.
Very cool video.
One thing that I really liked seeing as a Schlatter fan (contrary to the opinion of some less than intelligent members of the board) from a technical aspect when I watched many of these matches the first time is that instead of relying on his duck under as his sole means of offense he's utilizing it to set up some really dynamic leg shots.
This video did a nice job of showing him using those techniques.
I don't know if any of the matches from the Schultz were against international competition. I posted it on this part of the forum because it was all freestyle.
Jensen - I noticed the same thing about the duck technique. I know it's just a highlight film, but the agression was nice to see from DS.
I figured the Minny fans would love seeing DS and JD busting tail together.
I would have thought that this was obvious to everyone already.
Where did I say that he didn't?
I said that instead of ONLY relying on his slide by and duck under for offense (which in the past would allow people to shut down his offense from neutral by staying away from him) he's now utilizing the slide by and duck to set up leg shots.
I appreciate your pointing this out to me. I had no idea.
It was quite the move...
Indeed...
