If Otosultranov shows up he's my favorite to win as well.
I think Chama wins 74 this year.
Donno who'd be favored at 84- Mindo I guess if he's still wrestling.
I hope Mindo didn't retire but it would make sense given his age and going out w/gold. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice

Russia 09 is indeed a far cry from Russia 07. <o></o

Does anyone know why dudaev (at 60kg or 66kg) stopped wrestling. He's top notch. <o></o

Does anyone know how Bunch managed to best Huseynov from AZE in that duel? I think Huseynov is a top contender at 60kg.<o></o

Assuming Murtz doesn't wrestle or isn't at 100%, I think Chama wins at 74 as well. <o></o

66 is still the toughest weight class as always. There are some serious heavy hitters still active.
Shahin (TUR) ? Olympic champ 2008, World Champ 2007; Chechnyan import.
Andriy Stadnik Ukraine (UKR) ? Olympic Silver; very strong, good shooter, great wrestler.
Geandry Garzon (CUB) ? fast, athletic, great wrestler (world silver 2007 and bronze 2006)
Mehdi Taghavi (Iran) ? 22 years old, tough, athletic, might be best wrestler on Iran?s team. Improving rapidly b/still not quite top notch.
OTAR TUSHISHVILI (GEO) ?World Silver 2006 always competitive, bronze olympic
ALBERT BATYROV (BLR) ? Euro Champ 2007; great thrower, low on gas.
Whomever russia tosses in will be in the mix.
I want to see Murtazaliev at 74. If he gets the spot, he can hopefully redeem himself from Nationals. Although I have nothing against Chama. Both are very liable to win.
TRAIN LIKE A MADMAN!
Chama vs Murta have wrestled close several time, but Murta has always come out ahead. At this year's Yargin (see "Good Matches" thread) Chama lit him up in the 2nd but lost the match. I think it's Chama's year, just a gut feeling.
Olympic finalist Tigeiv is also gonna be a top contender. Terziev has a shot also.
thanks for the update. who will wrestle in place of Dabbaghi?
the jr. world champ Rahimi
