As usual, Mutalimov was applying his dirty techniques - fingers in the eyes etc... He got warned several times by the referee, without any consequences. Eventually, the Fila delegate got angry and intervened. Mutalimov got an official warning, and Masoumi - a point. Short after being punished by the officials, he was punished also by Masoumi. Masoumi took him down, grabbed his chin and began stretching him.

This is still the beginning of the action. Look at Mutalimov's face!

    Watch the finals:
    http://www.tv.naszraciborz.pl/site/movie/552.html

    Notice:
    1. You must watch the whole video (90 min). You cant fast-forward or rewind.
    2. The FW matches are good, especially the final of Nagashima (better known as Yamamoto – 4 times world champ 1999-2003). The FS matches, except for the 60 kg final, are not so exciting.

00:25 – 48 kg Maria Stadnik (Aze) - Lorisa Oorzhak (Rus)
06:25 – 55 kg Victor Lebedev (Rus) - Abbas Dabbagi (Iran)
12:25 – 55 kg Natalia Golts (Rus) - Natalia Sinishin (Ukr)
18:25 – 63 kg Elena Pirozhkov (USA) - Julia Ostapchuk (Ukr)
24:10 – 96 kg Hajimurad Gatsalov (RUS) - Saeed Ebrahimi (Iran)
33:20 – 72 kg Stanka Zlateva (Bul) - Ekaterina Bukina (Rus)
36:00 – 60 kg Khaibula Shaalov (Aze) - Morad Mohammadi (Iran)
45:10 – 51 kg Sofia Mattsson (Swe) - Aleksandra Kogut (Ukr)
52:20 – 74 kg Sadeq Goudarzi (Iran) - Asraf Aliev (Aze)
    58:10 – 59 kg Seiko Nagashima (=Yamamoto) (Jap) - Mariana Sastin (Hun)
64:25 – 84 kg Ehsan Lashgari (Iran) - Albert Saritov (Rus)
76:25 – 67 kg Ekaterina Burmistrova (Ukr) - Julia Bartnovskaya (Rus)
82:00 – 120 kg Fardin Masoumi (Iran) - Marid Mutalimov (Kaz)

a few questions: will Russia's kudakov wrestle at the world championships? does anyone have a prediction as to who russia will field at all weight classes.

    55 - Lebedev?
    60 - Adam Batirov or kudakov? 66?
    74 Murtz?
    84
    96 Gatslov (this seems certain)
    120

Russia may only win a one or two golds in Denmark

Yea the only certain one seems like Gatsalov. I definetly see him winning. I feel that Khudukov should represent at 60. Murtz looked horrible at Nationals so I still don't even know who will take that weight.

I feel Gadisov should represent at 84kg. Sure he's young and not much experience at international level, but he handled Saritov easily at nationals and Saritov has much international experience. So if Gadisov should beat a well experienced wrestler like Saritov, then why not beat the other wrestlers at worlds?

I would put Mahkov in at 120

This is definitely the year if someone wants to upset the Russians... I have them favored at 2 weights (Gatsalov and Makhov) with 74 (Murta or Tsargush) and 60 strong contenders as well.

tsargush didnt get one point scored on him at the nats, and i know he lost at least 2 clinches and still didnt get scored on, so i would think that they are gonna send him and personally i see him winning the worlds unless tigiev or chams comes out huge, and i think otarsultanov will come and claim 55 as he seems untouchable both internationally and national (except khudukov)
