x2 on Stadnik winning 66 this year... although Shahin (obviously), Garzon and Tushvilli are all more than capable as well.
nope i dont think so, i recall him holding his own against adam saitiev tho. they had a bunch of wild scrambles in that match. 66kg is way too unpredictable, way too many good wrestlers. Id also throw in taghavi in the mix, I wouldnt be suprised if he medalled.

Its nice to see gatcalov make a comeback.

the brackets are kind of tough to follow. at 120 kg it seems like zach rey lost the first period 3-1 and won the second 3-2 and the other guy advanced to the finals?

I know that Iranians have an excellent educational system. Like one of the best in the world. Is it common for wrestlers to retire young to pursue a career in business, medicine, sciences, law etc...?

The goal isn't to be a force but to at least be reasonably competitive.

Goudarzi, Lashgari and Masoumi won the gold but Morad Mohammadi lost to an Azeri wrestler.

Masoumi beat Mutalimov once again !

I think this team (without even one change) will represent Iran in Denmark !
