where is otarsultanov these days?? didnt he wrestle in the iranian league. I think the best bet for 84 kg spot for russia is saritov. I think he could acctualy win the whole thing. Keep us posted of the results when u get a chance, akzent. Photos would also be appreciated.

Iran won 1 Gold and 2 Silver in the first day !!! Dabbaghi and Ebrahimi lost to Russia (as usual) and Taghavi won the gold because Sahin didn't wrestle in the final ! I hope Akzent tell us more information |

It will get worse once he's a Senior. Gadisov should rep. Russia at Worlds. Saritov will not win gold. | |

There was no 66kg final; Shahin withdrew. Gatsalov - Ebrahimi 3:0, 2:0 in both periods from the "clinch" In the 1st period, Gatsalov took leg and scored. In the 2nd period, Ebrahimi took leg but couldnt take Gatsalov down. He and coach Mohammadi thought he has actually scored and they protested the no-call ( = Gatsalov's point). After video reviews the referees decided that there was no point for Ebrahimi and they gave Gatsalov a second point for the incorrect protest of Ebrahimi. Gatsalov looks like he's got that old mental edge back that allowed him to win all the close ones. It really frustrates me when big studs like Gog and Shahin withdraw, unless of course they are actually hurt.
