Final modification of the Wrestling Rules

The FILA Bureau accepted the modifications of the wrestling rules that have been put to test at all international tournaments and Continental Championships since February 2009. The modifications officially come into force as per 10 June 2009 and will not be subject to further modifications until the 2012 Olympic Games. FILA will print a new version of the rules in September 2009 and until that date, the modified provisions can be consulted at the following link.
