Wait, so who won? Dudaev should have won all periods. Should not have even gone to a third.

if i recall correctly dudaev won, his final was going to be with adam batirov but because the father of batirov was so outraged by this match, he withdrew adam form the match and demanded a apology from the russian wrestling federation

So let me get this straight... Batirov wins 3 coin tosses in a row- still can't score a legitimate point (that first clinch call was atrocious) and the his father throws a fit about the officiating? Perhaps some single-leg drills would be in order?

Oh and Dudaev joins the list of guys with awesome clinch defense. Unbelievable. This guy doesn't even have to pretend to try and score; no matter how the coin toss ends up he appears to have the advantage.

Yes i agree and if you guys dig enough in these threads and look for last years thread on yargin im sure it explains it all in there, and as for dudaev he deserved the win in this match i think, how often do you see guys get in on batirov, he might not have scored but still those 2 are so close

Dudaev is one of my favorites. I know it doesn't look like he does much, but what he does, he does great! One of the craftiest guys in recent years.

Crafty is right, along with great bodily awareness. He looks like he's just playing with this guy from poland.

    Park vs Sourian world finals.
No so much 'good match' as 'crappy match ending in huge throw. Also, Sourian uses his mind-powers to make Park take stupid penalties. Must be his height, every match of his I watch has the other guy taking leg fouls.

Good offensive variety shown by Khustov at the world cup... Also, I just realized that Mishine beat both world finalists this year, which makes his DNP at worlds a bigger shock than I had initially realized.

Ebrahami vs Gayzumov... nice throw in the first period to win it.

    Gotta post this one again.

48 kg match at the 1987 World Championships in Clermont-Ferrand, France between Sergei Karamtchakov of the Soviet Union (blue) and Lazslo Biro of Hungary (red). Match to decide who will go for the Bronze.

Both wrestlers had lost to the defending World Champ from North Korea in their pool. Biro was 2nd in the World in 1986.

    Simply amazing match.

    Quick_single, best... match... ever!!

World Greco matches starting to get uploaded. Here's some excellent 55 kg matches (gold medal final posted on an earlier page). Political controversy or not, Sourian shows he has no equals on the wrestling mat.

    Sourian vs Nybloom

Sourian vs Mango- just watch the ending! Also worthy of note is Sourian's ground defense, Mango can't even get his hands in.

Little Mankiev may not have won the title but he sure puts on a show!!! Seriously, don't know when I've seen this many big throws in one match before.

Amoyan vs Choi. Very agressive guys from standing, huge throws and what seems suspiciously like leg shots as well. I sur hope Choi was ok after the last big slam.
