And LSV decided to spend half the 1st Metcalf/Frayer period showing a guy pacing on the other mat.

Wow, Frayer gets a counter TD with 2 seconds left to win the 3rd period. Pretty much did nothing for 5 minutes and 55 seconds, but a win is a win...

That was a great effort by Metcalf, but he just couldn't quite close the deal. This is getting very frustrating for some of us Metcalf fans. Lets hope he can get back into the 3rd place match.

Caldwell over Stith, TD in each period...

It's not like he's slacking; he's facing tough competition. You can't expect him to be an Olympic Champ right away. Plus, I imagine the transition from folk to free is particularly tough on him since wearing his opponents down is one of his strengths.

This could be an incredibly young world team. I don't really think Stieber will beat Simmons, but we could be looking at Stieber, Bunch, Caldwell, Schlatter, Herbert, Varner, Mocco. Over half that team is still in school.

It's Metcalf vs. Schwab in the consos.

Fronhoffer over Gavin, got a nice counter score in the clinch - literally a couple inches from being pushed out.
