Nice job by the current and FUTURE Boise State wrestlers.

Jason Chamberlain (True Freshman at Boise State) takes 1st place at 66 kgs (145.4 lbs) And he "smoked" Mario Mason in the championship matches.

Kirk Smith (True Sophomore at Boise State) takes 2nd place at 84 kgs (185 lbs) due to having to Default due to injury in the championship match. I am wondering how serious his injury was tho. I'm told that he was "howling" in pain after Chris Perry used several ankle laces on him. That leads me to think the injury must have been either a broken ankle or a knee or leg injury of some kind.

Brian Owen (True Freshman at Boise State) takes 3rd place at 60 kgs (132 lbs)

And FUTURE Boise State wrestler Carson Kuhn (a HS Senior next season) took 1st place at 50 kgs (110 lbs) in Freestyle and 2nd place at 50 kgs in Greco Roman.

They were the only wrestlers connected to Boise State who competed at the F.I.L.A. Junior World team trials. Others who perhaps SHOULD have also competed (IMO) include Adam Hall and Andrew Hochstrasser, Levi Jones, Kurt Swartz, Nate Lee and Brent Chriswell.

    There's a bunch of vidoes uploaded by USAwrestling2008. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=...08&view=videos

I don't really follow this level of wrestling but the Howe vs Meade match, which from my understanding was the biggest name match, is up there, and features the mythical "win after losing the coin toss" move.

    Sweet greco move

Another good greco match. I just wish they'd make them stand up and wrestle chest to chest as they apparently used to do.

Show the first period of the Howe-Meade match Meade won easily, but the more active wrestler payed the price at this high altitude
