Default Khushtov's comment makes the difference very clear

When asked how he improved so fast this year at 28 years old, he responded by saying his daughter was born 10 months ago and he needed to start thinking about providing for the family. As a result, psychologically he felt much more eager to win.

Its funny because providing for the family is the exact reason why American wrestlers tend to quit the sport completely.

Khushtov also said his coach told him before the finals to pretend like the German is trying to take the food away from his daughter.

Big, that the difference in getting paid for performance, and not.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Are Americans receiving 500k if they win?

lol.. you attacked Federer because he didn't win because there was no money on the table and then applaud the Russian who blatantly says he did it for the money. You're more of a capitalist than you think, Big.

I am a meritocrasist. A million $$$ for an Olympic Gold is fair to me. $40 million per year, like Federer makes, is not. Its too much.

Khushtov will get a fair payment. Federer is so filthy rich along with the W sisters that Olympics is a non-issue to them.
