Thread: 84/96/120 KG Greco Results and Discussion

    Default 84KG, 96KG, and 120KG Greco-Roman tommorow.

I can't weight for these weight classes. They got some pretty big names such as Russia's Aleksei Mischine and Khashan Baroev. Also Cuba's Mijain Lopez and USA's Dremiel Byers. It should be very exciting, especially the heavy weight class. Khashan is going to win the gold.

I'd love to see Vering make it to face Mischine (or however they're spelling it today) again. Just to see if he can make it a closer match this time.

There is Badri Khasaia in 84kg, I think he can beat Mishin.

    no.

    the turk will beat him.

your opinion is not objective since your georgian yourself

and if he does beat the turk.. TAHMASEBI is waiting around the corner

96 will also be a great weight..

GABER with a very easy draw.. although the albanian caused a lot of trouble to Nozadze in the 2007 worlds and also beat the russien.

my bet- Gaber vs WHEELER in the semi.

on the bottom we have Nozadze, DINCHEV (the one who defeated karam in rome..), Khushtov (euro champ.. Nozadze sold that match with him in the semi's..) and Ezerskis (silver medalist 2007..). i don't count Ozal the turk as a threat.

my bet- Nozadze vs Khushtov in the semi.. with Nozadze winning the entire thing.

but hey, that's only my bet.

In fact, the only weight that didn't surprised me was 74.

I just noticed the Iranians got their asses handed to them during the light weight classes. might be the same during these classes as well.

It'll be very interesting to see if Gaber can show some traces of the absolute ludicrous level of dominance he showed in Athens 4 years ago.
