I think it was 2 for exposure, but Jake was still on top, then 1 for reversal. Just a guess.

Having situations where fans still don't know whats going on after three years of these rules is awesome.

It's absolutely absurd, fortunately all the rules should get changed again after this cycle.

Sure, blame it on the rules. Didn't the same rules give US its first team title last year?

I'm not blaming it on the rules, Deitchler got beat fair and square I mean the first period he got thrown twice those are the same under any rules. As you note these same rules won us the team title last year.

It just strikes me as kind of absurd that situations like the one at the end of Deitchler's match happen and people who follow the sport are confused as to what just happened.

JensenS seems to be implying that the rules are confusing, Big, not that they are unfair.

I think the nature of Greco and freestyle produces controversies often because the points can be scored in so many different ways by simply breaking 90 degrees.

So when people flip each other back and forth the points pile up but the fans don't follow quick enough.

I think fan confusion is due to a passive fan syndrome. people are used to watching baseball and football where you take a nap come back and still know what is going on.
