Just got word from one the greco guys...
talk about a gift... I feel bad for the bulgarian, genuinely. You qualify the spot for your country, and then the replacement gets an CAR ACCIDENT???
wow, zadick had better win a medal...

His position is not official as yet, but Mike Zadick is in Beijing, has been working out and had planned to make weight just in case. He wouldn't wrestle until the 19th so there plenty of time on the clock. Let's hope he has Damion Hahn in his corner.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.
i'm sorry, but zadick is not very good.
he's had ONE good international tournament --worlds 06. he adapted to the clinch very well initially, and beat people in that tournament by being very stubborn when locking, and very stubborn to let people lock. since the 06 world's, his clinch approach has backfired on him, and has lost a lot of points by not permitting a proper clinch start.
and yes, he hit one nice ankle pick on batirov. since then, he has been using that pick non stop, and it has not worked for him. why? because the world wants to figure out how to beat batirov, so i'm sure they have studied that video hundreds of times.
in the chicago cup he 'opened' up his arsenal by attempting doubles against batirov. i'm sure we all remember what happened there.
besides that, he was DQed for not getting his medicines properly registered.

Yeah I really don't understand all the Zadick hype either but, I'm an American so it will nice to see him wrestle in Beijing, if that's the case.
The clinch approach backfired on him at the 2 Olympic Qualfiers he entered. Not good.
Chicago Cup was against Dudaev.

Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.
