Thanks for all the updates, and information. I'm really not interested in gossip like on the other board.

Yes and good bye Buvaisa. No way would Russian coaches let aging Saitiev disturb Murtazaliev sensation in his prime. Remember Farniev? Murtazaliev took him out as well.

I think he meant a few years ago when Farniev was the defending World champ at 66 and rising star Murtazaliev took him out.

Yes, that's what I meant.

Murtazaliev said in an interview that it was a very difficult match physically for him. He said to beat Saitiev he had to attack first and often because Saitiev is so good offensively and virtually unstoppable if he starts attacking.

I could watch some 30-60 seconds from each period and I can add that Murtazaliev showed also good defensive skills. In each period, Saitiev could stop at least one leg attack by Murtazaliev; then they grappled on the ground in a position from which Saitiev usually scores. But this time Saitiev's attempts to grab Murtazaliev's leg and turn him and even his attempts to go behind the back of Murtazaliev weren't successful. Murtazaliev didn't let him score.
