Justin Lester recalls his 1999 Cadet World gold medal in freestyle

Pretty cool. Some of his teammates were Todd Meneely and Kyle Ott. Ott was 8th at 50kg but he placed above multi World champ Dilshod Mansurov, longtime Georgia representative at 55kg Besarion Gochashvili, Euro runner-up Didier Pais and World medalist Sahit Prizreni. World champion Sushil Kumar won that weight. Some of the other notable names who competed at the last Cadet World championships include Gabor Hatos (World bronze), Russia's Vitkovski (Euro runner-up), Magomed Ibragimov (Olympic runner-up), Serhat Balci (World bronze) and Namig Sevdimov (5th at Worlds/Olympics) - about half of them didn't place.
