Leglace, we got rid of that shortly after our move over here basically in order to start to get thewrestlingtalk.com out as the official name for this site.

Basically just to "build the brand", its better for us to just be thewrestlingtalk and not to have people accessing us by several different url's.

OK, because I had this site bookmarked as Thematforum.com. I thought it was clever... I just noticed as of today it didn't work.

But some people still go to the mat so that is why I go there time to time. But know on the mat I cant register for the forums or change my account.

They got rid of registration a month and a half or so ago when people started to make multiple fake accounts and spam the boards with them because they were upset about things.

TheMat's URL is "thematforums.com" back in the old'n days one of the members here registered "thematforum.com" as a domain and had it redirect back to my old site.

Once we moved here two years ago we got rid of that to start building TheWrestlingTalk as a brand.

O.k. but if that happens here you guys are just going to make a new site and take away registration and stuff. I herd some rumors about people posting allot of fodder and what not. so that caused the main users to start heading to this site. But now its grown and the people you guys tried to leave at themat are now starting to transfer over here. So will this be an endless loop?

I don't think so. Jensen runs a tight ship and we don't let things spiral out of control and then go on a deletion binge like they do at themat.com

Posters here are generally self policing and when they aren't the good crew of moderators (who's identities are publicly displayed) do a good job at getting rid of riff raff.
