Thread: Kissinger Throws in The Towel

Default Kissinger Throws in The Towel

Kissinger (a foreign policy genius, in my mind) says that we can't win in Iraq, due to the deep seeded religious wars. These theocrat maniacs just want to kill each other repeatedly, without regard to anything other than base, moronic, theocratic desires. OK, I added that.

Truer words have never been spoken.

What Kissinger is really saying is that Saddam was the best possible thing for Iraq. Maybe Hussein knew what he was doing??? Hmmmm....

I think it may be the case that a monster might be the best leader for a country that is a cauldron of theocracies. They can't exist side-by-side otherwise.

I believe Hussein was the product of the environment rather than an evil man by Nature. He could have been a CEO of an American company for all we know if he grew up in USA.

You're giving him too much credit. You can say that Hitler or Hussein were great managers, but you can't say that they weren't evil. Something was deeply wrong with each of them.

I guess what I am trying to say is that Hussein was a man of a very strong character but due to an environment he lived in his energies were directed to become a harsh ruler rather than anything else.

Just because Hussein murdered everyone that he percieved to be a threat or even to be disrespectful, that does not make him a good leader or the answer to keeping peace in a country. Saddam needed to be removed and was.

    Ugly,

I can't help but notice how your screen name right next to your avatar represents the ultimate oxymoron.
