I doubt their mentality is from 300 years ago though. In one form or another things like that go on everyday. Western powers don't need stones because they have bombs and guns. Can anyone show the video of women and children getting bombed during last summer's war when Israel killed civilians? What about American soldiers raping and killing that Iraqi girl? It goes both ways and just because our technology is so good makes no difference.
