What has Lenin done to America?
Another proof a misguided maniac is ruling this country:
Bush argued the current debate over the Iraq war and the administration's anti-terror methods harkens back to debates decades ago over resisting action when Soviet founder Vladimir Lenin first talked about launching a communist revolution, when Adolf Hitler began moves to establish an "Aryan superstate" in Germany, and in the early days of the Cold War when some advocated accommodation of the Soviet Union.

Re: What has Lenin done to America?
Interestingly Bush did not mention Reagan's and his father's backing of Saddam Hussein and future Al Qaeda and Taliban. Makes me sick!

Hey, war is good for bidness. And GW has always supported bidness.

Re: What has Lenin done to America?
What is Bush implying America should have gone to nuclear war with Soviet Union? Seems to me accomodation worked, not to mention it created great wrestling rivalries.

Re: What has Lenin done to America?
No. I think he's saying we should have attacked Russia in 1917 and Germany in 1939 (or earlier), and didn't, so look what happened. It's U.S. fault for allowing these men to come to power.

Re: What has Lenin done to America?
I am refering to his last comment actually with regard to Cold war.
But yeah, interesting how Bush thinks America should control the World.

I see. Yeah, I think he's saying we coulda and shoulda "brought it on" in the cold war. Then we could have had a hot war.
