I think you lean strong left. But not a complete left wing nut job.

WuW is as far left as Ugly is far right. How's that sound?

Re: One step closer to Socialism leaning to Communism
I'll agree with that!
That said, I ain't left on everything. I don't think there is a whole lot of difference between left and right. It's just a big difference as to how to get there.

I believe we are all proud Americans. I would defend it to the death although I'm too old and have very little stamina to do it myself.

Re: One step closer to Socialism leaning to Communism
As an FYI, I work for a huge company, but we are very diverse and customer friendly. They just took a huge writedown after the HCR passed. I'm hoping that it's going to be ameliorated by adjusting HC for all the retirees. Health care for life is a bit much, particularly when many, if not most, qualify for Medicare-a government run program.
I have great HC, but I want others to have the same opportunity. A healthier population is positive for the health of our country IMO.

For Sgallan who admits that he runs up bills and doesn't pay them, you should be in jail instead of bragging about how you are wasting MY money. I don't know how you could look at yourself in the mirror every day knowing you are a punk. You should be ashamed!
I know a lot of people make fun of KR because of his scientology beliefs. I don't agree with the spiritual side of it either, but if you wipe away the fact that he is a scientologist and look at health care, he makes a lot of sense. Just look at the commercials tonight and count how many drug commercials there are and how many preventative commercials there are. What's sad is that there has to be a "get moving" campaign to get kids to go out and play. Fat kids become fat adults who become a drain on healthcare.
As far as coverage overall, I think not dropping pre-existing conditions is good as long as the person has been paying for coverage all their life. For the 20 somethings who think they are invincible and don't pay for several years, don't jump on my coverage once you get sick. Unless, they pay a higher rate until all those years of non payment are made up. We should also be able to pick what coverage we want. For instance, my wife and I can't have any more kids so why do we have to pitch in for maternity care that won't benefit us? Same thing about drug rehab. We should be able to exclude those from our coverage since they don't apply and that should lower our rates.
Thanks for the acknowledgment Q14.
I am glad you have the ability to observe.
This argument is basically brought to you by the same people who believe that REPUBLICAN vs DEMOCRAT IS a CHOICE when it is NOT.
People think that life is just chocolate vs vanilla.
When there are more the 2 flavors available (AND what do you do if you are lactose intolerant...)
For those who can't imagine more then chocolate or vanilla well then those who propose or invent butter pecan or rocky road ARE INSANE.
They are entitled to their opinion as much as they are entitled to their very limited view of life & in this case helping others achieve optimum physical health.
THAT BEING SAID
Look @ what is crazy. We are to pay for services with no guarantees. If I bring my car into a shop for repair & it isn't fixed then I don't pay until it runs.
BUT we pay for services that DO NOT make us better. The only MANAGE THE SYMPTOMS. Why should we pay for that?
Handle the very problem that is causing the symptom.
Create wellness NOT a drug that creates MORE side effects.
We just accept this insanity like a bunch of freakin sheep.
We are surrounded in this world BY LOW COST HEALTH CARE SOLUTIONS EVERY DAY.
BUT
we never hear about them because the pharmaceutical companies will "not make money" on them.
OR
They won't make the BILLIONS that they have gotten used to.
Schlotke spent over a million bucks on his back surgery. I know of doctors that could have handled him for pennies on the dollar. This argument is like trying to figure out which materials are best to build with on a fault line. The answer is DON'T BUILD ON THE FAULT LINE. Build some where else.
All this Healthcare reform IS, is an attempt to REORGANIZE an already broken system.
Sorry. THAT's crazy.

When you freedom of choice has been limited & you don't realize it & don't care, it's not hyperbole.
