Damn you can't go wrong with that list.

You could argue that any one of those could be the best player ever not just center fielders.

I read a book on DiMaggio and he certainly was an interesting person.

* Andruw Jones
* Curt Flood?

What if Griffey Jr. hadn't lost these last couple of years to injury. He could have eclipsed a possible 800 home runs and not to mention his range and arm. I think he is the greatest center fielder ever, being outstanding in nearly all aspects of the game. Consequently I believe he would have been great in any era. Oh and not to mention he is a lefty.
