I read European history from the Western perspective and I find no mention of free Soviet day care services, free education, free summer camps, free year round sports clubs with dedicated coaches that took you to tourneys for free all over the country, free medical care, cheap and effective public transportation, beautiful subways and so on. All I keep reading about is Stalin, Gulags and lack of voting.
