High level guitarists are definitely not stupid guys, there is a ton of theory that goes along with the actual practice and dexterity. There are a few young guys out there that I'll link to eventually, I don't have time to track down the vids this morning, but Tosin Abasi is the guitarist for Animals as Leaders and he is pretty amazing.

I don't suppose this would be the appropriate thread to unleash my collection of guitarist jokes.

These are pretty good. I've actually heard them before but instead of "guitarists" I always heard them as "Michigan grads".
