Flop, I remember you saying you had also read the Dave Mustaine book. Well, I just got done watching That Metal Show and he was on. Megadeth has a new album out called Th1rt3en. Here is the title track. It's the only one I've listened to so far, but the entire album is on there.

Megadeth's guitarist (Chris Broderick) is a beast. He is a fairly accomplished classical musician, check this out on acoustic.

This is fantastic. I don't play any instrument, but a lot of people assume metal guys are stupid, especially thrash metal. If anyone took the time to read anything about Randy Rhodes, you know he was about to quit Ozzy's band to teach classical guitar. These guys are amazing.

High level guitarists are definitely not stupid guys, there is a ton of theory that goes along with the actual practice and dexterity. There are a few young guys out there that I'll link to eventually, I don't have time to track down the vids this morning, but Tosin Abasi is the guitarist for Animals as Leaders and he is pretty amazing.

Yes. But if you look closely, you will notice that the ballerina is a greyhound. I have a small collection of "art works" with the characters replaced by greyhounds. I will post some of the others, too.
