    P.O.S. I want my $8K back.

That thing makes the Yugo look like a Saab.

Just looks like a stretched out version of "the car" that I saw 18 years ago. Such a strange feeling to see the same car, in a few different colors, everywhere we went. Soviet Union, Summer 1989:

Actually sweety the blue car above and the white car in the bottom are two different models. The above car is Zhiguli number 1 while the below white model is Zhiguli number 5. I can tell them apart by head and tail lights among other features.

Is the appearance really that much worse than this American car from 1989?

Whoops. How silly of me not to have noticed the difference in the headlights. Thanks for correcting my egregious error.

Nope. But all the cars in 1989 America didn't look like that.

Why are you being so defensive, Big? I was simply pointing out how similar the cars looked. When we arrived in the Soviet Union, that was the first thing that struck us when we left the airport, how all the cars looked the same. Not necessarily saying it was a negative thing, it was just a significant visual impact on a group of high school students from North Carolina traveling to a country that most people never had the chance to visit.

Personally, I wish all cars in America looked the same. I am the absolute worst at making decisions, and if I had limited choices, my life would be a lot easier

In 1989 at least in Leningrad these kinds of models were beginning to emerge:
