Re: Women's World Cup I didn't get it on until around the 105th, so I missed the majority of Brazil's antics.
Despite the abbreviated amount that I got to see, definitely the most I've enjoyed a women's event since probably the 08 Olympics

Re: Women's World Cup Solo probably has a 1000 futbol geeks asking her to marry them now on Twitter...the ladies showed better nadz then the men's team. Scoring in the 102 +2 minute...wtf. On a header off a pass from 40 yards out, (which is more typical of English Premier League then anything else). That just isn't done. Very F-in athletic, (reminded me a bit of Bergkamp's goal vs Argy in 98) Congrats! Squash the frogs. Maybe THE Ladies can get a rematch vs Sweden.
Interesting that Wambach was talking about their resilience when they were only playing with "10 men" not 10 players or 10 women but "10 men". She said it 2xs.
Btw Japs beat Die Deustche on their home field.

Sadly my family and I(all big soccer fans) were at church then lunch so we missed the whole 120 minutes, my brother alerted us that we tied it in the 122 minute, so we stopped by my house and watched the PK's. Just unbelievable. How these girls can be so "money." Is beyond me.
