Darn neighbors!!!

I absolutely hate winter. HATE IT!!!! But, today it got to 75 degrees here in southern Ohio. I went out on the porch with a beer and my dog to enjoy the day. Then that damn "do-gooder neighbor" started mowing his grass.

If he doesn't finish up in the next 30min. my wife is gonna get home and suggest that I do the same! Pellet guns don't kill humans do they?

I'm with you on Winter. My favorite day of the year is Day Light Savings day and even more so since they bumped it to early March.

I hope your 75 moves east for tomorrow.

BTW - I had my mower out last Friday when it went to 75. No grass to mow yet, but it's a back saver vacuuming up all of the little tree sticks that fall in the winter wind.

Still have about six inches of snow on most of my yard. I usually start mowing around mid-May.
I like the winter and hate mowing so I am not complaining

We've had rain, then warm weather, then chill, then rain, then warm . . . . The only thing that seems to be prospering is the weeds. The landscape in the front yard turned into a jungle - between the weeds and the unpruned landscape plants. I was looking at multiple hours of pruning, digging and pulling weeds, raking, etc. Yuck! I got home the other day and it was all done! One of the neighborhood highschoolers came by and offered to do it all for $25. My wife (bless her) took him up on it.
It wasn't done quite the way I would have done it. And maybe I would have been a little more careful on the weeding. But you know what - it is done! Darn neighbors!
