Beware the Ides of March
Why, man, he doth bestride the narrow world like a Colossus; and we petty men walk under his huge legs, and peep about to find ourselves dishonorable graves.
Men at some time are masters of the fates. *The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are underlings.

Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once.Of all the wonders that I yet have heard,It seems to me most strange that men should fear;Seeing that death, a necessary end,Will come when it will come.
William Shakespeare: Julius Caesar

Did you know ''Et TU BRUTE ?'' has 2 meanings ? One is obvious -Brutus is a member of the killing party-BRUTE also was a word for illegitimate son - so Julius own son was involved in his murder.

You were both SF and 7th Cav? Where were you and when were you there? I spent some time with the 5th - although I wasn't SF.

That is interesting. I didn't know that there were any Army troops involved at Khe Sanh until April when the 1st Air Cav moved in to attempt the relief as part of Operation Pegasus. February was a nasty time at Khe Sanh. What were you guys doing there?

Re: Beware the Ides of March
Green Berets were the ones who set things up. We patroled, went into the mountains. We kept track of what the other side was doing. The Marines were there of course. Now,may I ask where you were at and what you did, and your rank? As you probably know, most of the time no one including your superiors knew what was going on. The movie , Green Berets, wasn't even close to what it was really like.
