What say you about the new board??
Love it - thanks JensenS and Jacob
Like it - it'll take getting used to
I like the old one better - after looking around this one
I like the old one better - because I'm a creature of habit
This board really isn't to my liking
What say you about the new board??
Those of you who think you know it all really annoy those of us who actually do ;)
I like it. It seems to be able to do a lot more than the old board and I guess it can accomodate much more traffic.
Traffic really isn't the main concern, as ProBoards would be more than capable of receiving all of the traffic we as a community create. The biggest difference with this software is that it allows Shane, and the rest of the community the ability to grow into other areas like tournaments, keeping a calendar updated about upcoming events, and making it into a conversation piece, and also very importantly, search engine optimization which allows for your website to be found easily. Without getting too much into the details of how all that works, suffice it to say that you are now on the best software in the world in that regard.
The best sport deserves the best software.
i like it but it just doesn't seem to have the numbers.

Its going to take a little while to get everything up to speed, and the domain is not even transferring yet. Really has been a pretty successful move so far, I feel.
I don't know whether traffic is a problem or not but on the old board often I could not just type up my post because it took like 2 minutes to type a sentence so I had to type in a word document and paste it.
That never happens here.
I like the old one better (creature of habit thing) but I'm sure I'll end up liking this one fine.
I do really appreciate the efforts and all the hard work by Jensen and Schlottke to get this one going. It says a lot that you guys have tried to accomodate everyone's requests and want to make sure this is a board that everyone can enjoy.
so.... THANKS... even though I'm old and set in my ways and tend to resist change!
