    Default Happy Winter

Actually, I hate winter, but I thought this digital was pretty neat and I didn't know what to title the string.

Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Nope! I don't do cold. I have no intention of going anywhere there is more ice than I can put in a glass.

Looks like home today! Just coming off of our second snow fall of the season this afternoon.

It's weird, because the one winter that I lived away from snow and cold (California), it never felt right or at home to me. I couldn't get used to it.

The picture is cool and I like to look at scenes like that, watch the snow fall, and be outside when it's dead quiet and everything is freshly covered. I also like long walks on the beach ... oh wait ... wrong forum ... sorry about that

Seriously, though, I like some of the looks and experiences of winter but I'm pretty tired of dealing with day-to-day repercussions of winter weather - shoveling, clearing the roof/gutters, slopping through the parking lot, etc., etc.

I can get used to the warmth of the sun on may face reeeeal quick. There's nothing better than breaking a sweat outdoors in January.

Maybe it's because I'm a snowboarder, but I get like a little kid when we start getting snow.

I love cold, I hate hot, and I'd rather vacation in the mountains in winter, than the beach any time of year. I'm certainly the exception to most Humans.

Really sums up the way I feel about it as well. It's definitely here though, 12/4 and two snow falls, two rounds of snow blowing and it's 9 degrees out!

Blue skies, bright sun, and 74 degrees. There is a reason I live in Southern California!
