couldnt see where else to introduce myself...
as far as ive seen in forums it is always polite to introduce yourself so hi, im leo. big wrestling fan but now petrified as my nephew has just started playing... trying to make sure hes kitted out for the sport and generally trying to reassure my sister that hel come out okay! so im here to ask all those annoying parenting questions and probably just annoy everyone but remember, if you help me out, it will be so appreciated and it will help a mother encourage her son to do what he loves!
thanks for your patience in advance

Ask away, lots of wrestlers and coaches here to answer your questions.

Fire away. You'll probably get more information than you need. I will say in advance that many of the fine individuals on this forum have wrestling to thank at least in part for making them the men and women they are today.

Welcome to the forum! Be careful with the advice given here. Most of these guys are much better wrestlers today than they were when they were actually on the mat. I figure a couple of more years here and I will have been a state qualifier!

Spider - Have you ever read any of the stories by Patrick McManus? He wrote a short story about his first deer - and how it grew as he got older. One of the funniest things I have ever read. I am not allowed to read anything by McManus while lying in bed - I laugh so hard I keep the wife awake. Great writer. Another great story has to do with him shooting a deer and having no way to get it back down the mountain except by bicycle - an epic comedic disaster.

Never have but I'll give him a try. Thanks. BTW, in bed it's usually my girlfriend who's laughing - draw your own conclusions.
