Clean and totally within the play. Ward is NOT a dirty ballplayer. Aggressive but not dirty. I'm not really a Steeler fan (I do have Ward on an Fantasy team), but I actually like Ward's play. He takes pride in being a ferocious blocker by WR standards, and has helped his offense with blocking in the past. That said, he may look for situations where he can lay the wood on somebody. So what? There should be more WRs with that attitude, as long as its all within the context of the play.

The guy from the originating web site is definitely not a big Steelers fan however. The blog on Ward being dirty got about a 9 to 1 negative comment response.

My god, it's football not tiddlywinks. Perfectly good/legal hit. If you don't want to get hit like this, don't play football.

As soon as I make excuses you will have a point. I was asked to give my current take on the Dallas Cowboys. My take is that they are too injury riddled to be a factor at this time. I wouldn't be surprised if the last place Eagles could beat them with the current team that they are fielding. Certainly they wouldn't allow 41 points to be dropped on them again.

And I gave my take that the Eagles offense struggled and was unable to point enough points on the board to win without Westbrook. Either way it is the same as we are both saying the two teams have problems due to injuries.

The way the cowboys have played lately its hard to imagine them winning more than 2 or 3 games the rest of the way.

I'll recap for you. Dallas was going to play Philadelphia and you went on and on about how the Eagles were going to win. They got lit up for 41 points and then you said yeah but we had injuries. That would be an excuse.

I've been asked how I see the Dallas Cowboys team presently and my assessemnt is that they have far too many injuries to be considered a factor. That is an honest assessment. Now if I go on about how they're going to win and if they lose, then I bring up the injury thing, that would be the same thing you're doing.

Now if I were to ask anyone if New England will repeat as AFC champs, the first thing out of their mouth would be "not with Tom Brady injured". That's not an excuse, that is a legitimate reason for why they aren't as good as they can be. I know you can understand this.

New topic, since I hate beating up on you...When do the Phills and Sting Rays start the series, who has home field, how do the match ups look and who's favored? I am pumped for Philly to finally win something of note.

Nevermind, I looked it up myself. Looks like Philly is in for a very tough series.
    Lets go Brent!
