Mayhem Miller has grown on me big time, I didn't like him at all initially.

I feel the same way. He's still as weird as he used to be, but it's more entertaining now somehow.
Also, he's a very underrated fighter.

That's also how I view things. He's got a lot of skills, debuting against GSP on the main card is a hard intro into the UFC. I imagine he was cut for that loss, but at least he was paid a generous purse ($2,000).
He's still corny, but he's respectful at the same time.

Speaking of entrances again, no promotion did it better than pride. They had the drums and all that. You also got to love the way they screamed the name of the winner!

I think we need to get the wailing banshee Pride announcer lady (Lene Hardt) at NCAAs.
Can you imagine? "NNNNNNCAA Champion Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrent Metcalffffffff!"
Except she is currently doing the announcing for Dream.
I actually just responded to your post on NWT about pump up music and mentioned how Wanderlei Silva's entrances to Sandstorm got me pumped up. (They were much better in Pride, but I think he has one of the best entrances in UFC).

Have you been watching Dream? It's pretty close. Same with that New Years show (Yakimura or whatever).
Of course they don't have all the good fighters Pride once had, especially the heavier guys
