I think vak is mad that gil castillo was number one. He once tried to convince me that Hughes beating Castillo was a great accomplishment.

He won a tournament, he wasn't just given something for nothing. He earned it more than Brock did and he fought his way back into the UFC, unlike Kimbo who made it after "sucking" and then going 0-1 in TUF.

I think Serra did beat BJ - I'm not just saying he did well. BJ was too defensive and Matt was the aggressor.

If Matt won that decision, he would have had a title fight against Uno.

Speaking of Serra, what happened to Scooby? He was training under Serra for some time.

Matt Serra definitely earned his shot. He had to go out there and win a bunch of fights while on a reality show, secluded from his family, and then he goes out there and forces the Champ to tap out to strikes. There was no gimme about Serra's situation.

I repeat, Eilers was most non deserving/failed to earn his shot.

Ricco Rodriguez was offered that fight before Eilers was and he turned it down, citing that the amount of money that they offered him was insulting.
    Lets go Brent!

I agree that Eilers was a huge reach--can't think of a worse one. Buentello was another.
    I heart Jazzy B. White.
