All I can say is what a card, exciting fights all night.

Dan Henderson was just waiting to land that overhand right and when he did it was lights out for Bisping, who I did not think looked comfortable. Henderson then sealed the deal and I dont feel bad, that is why you should not talk shit.

The Akiyama, Belcher fight was good and I thought Akiyama won the 2nd and 3rd round. Maybe I was wrong but I didnt think Belcher got robbed like Rogan did.

GSP dominated Alves and I did not expect that. I thought the 2nd was a 10-8 round and those were some nice take downs. I especially liked the double to a knee tap, that was textbook . And if that was the top contender in that weight class I agree with the fans on sight in saying he needs to fight the Spider.

Getting another lesson in why you dont talk shit was Mir. Has anyone seen such power from that position. Lesner laid the wood to Mir and there is no mistaking who won the fight. I have never seen arm punches, while the guy was laying down look so brutal and do so much damage. Mir is a dangerous man but it looked like Lesner learned his lesson, and then destroyed Mir.

It is STARTLING how much power Lesnar is able to generate without even a full windup.

BTW, tonight proved to me that GSP would get smashed by Anderson. He wasn't exactly dominating the stand up in the fight, and he had a 6 inch reach ADVANTAGE. Anderson would demolish him. But at WW, he is undoubtedly the king. Nobody can touch him there. Which is the purpose of weight classes.

I don't believe GSP has a shot as Silva, no matter how good his striking is. It's going to come down to can GSP take down the spider and hold him there. GSP is not going to do anything to Silva with the stand up. If at any point his plan to victory includes the stand up, GSP has no chance what so ever.

With that said, I certainly don't want to see these 2 fight.

I dont think it is a forgone conclusion that he would be dominated. My only thing is, who will he fight and be pushed by. Last night they were talking Mike Swick, which I dont think is a good match up. Does he have another interesting opponent at Welter Weight?

Why don't people appreciate someone reigning over a division? There used to be a lot of respect for that. Isn't it impressive enough every time he annihilates another WW. If he leaves WW, are you going to take anyone else seriously as WW champion? He should do his duty and reign over his weight.

the last 2 guys who stood with GSP survived, one being GSP's old training partner.

He's not going to trade with him or try anything offensive while standing. He'll hang back, go for a takedown and win on top. I think he could clear out the 185 division too.
