UFC 125: Will We See A Rematch of Edgar and Maynard After Draw?

In the main event of last night's UFC 125 in Las Vegas, Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard fought to a draw, allowing Edgar to hold on to his title as UFC's Lightweight Champion.

After originally announcing Anthony Pettis as the next challenger for Edgar, MMAJunkie.com is announcing that UFC President Dana White has changed his mind.

Instead, there will indeed be a rematch of Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard.

No date has been announced, as the report from MMAJunkie simply states that it will happen as soon as "both are ready to return to the Octagon."

Needless to say, this is the right decision. Maynard is still the best challenge for Edgar. After last night's draw, he is still undefeated.
