UFC 124 was last night and Dan Miller defeated Joe Doerkson in a split decision as part of the undercard for last night's event.

It was a back and forth fight for the most part but a big turning point was the third round when Miller got to Doerkson, getting him on the ground and busting him open with punches and elbows. However, Doerkson responded from his back and was able to open up Miller.

Doerkson tried to get to a standing position but Miller kept the clamps on him and controlled the final round. It was that final round that won the fight for Miller in my estimation as Doerkson looked like the beaten man when the final bell and sounded.

It was a successful night for the Miller family as Dan's brother Jim also won last night at UFC 124.
