Back on the early episodes of The Ultimate Fighter, I said I kind of liked Josh Koscheck.

Then, Blondie proceeded to rampage through his reputation like Sherman through the South, setting every bit of goodwill on fire and pillaging whatever warm fuzzies he'd ever inspired. By the end of his stint on the show, he was one of the most reviled men in all of sports.

Certainly in MMA.

But after getting eviscerated by UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre, Kos showed his true humility and respect for GSP. He took his beating?both inside the cage and outside of it?and showed no bitterness for either.

It speaks volumes that he's willing to create and absorb all that extracurricular abuse just to sell a fight. Whether it's good or bad is for you to decide, but I've gotta respect him for it.

Because I really enjoyed that night of fights and the main event was the icing on the cake.

Hope you agree.
