Brock Lesnar, as many of you are aware by now, was defeated in the fourth minute of the first round by challenger Cain Vasquez.

Vasquez looked like the more polished fighter in the brief bout. Lesnar was able to get Vasquez to the ground initially but was unable to keep him there. Once, Vasquez came loose, the fight completely turned. Momentum immediately shifted to the Mexican-American fighter who was born and raised in Salinas, California.

Vasquez pummeled Lesnar with a vicious barrage of strikes. Lesnar became discombobulated and Cain was able to take advantage. Lesnar fell to the floor and continued to receive punishment to his giant head. The completely bulbous appendage has to be the main reason he lost this one. How could Vasquez not hit a target that size?

Next up for Lesnar has to be a much needed respite. He will then fight UFC also rans Frank Mir or Gabriel Gonzaga.
