    Hey Brother Rick,
Just wondering where you disappeared to. We haven't had much direct communication over the years on this forum or themat.com but I have always enjoyed your comments and posts. Hope all is well and you make a post or three in the coming months.

That may be a good idea . But what 125 's are available ? In my league they went quickly-so I have 2 -Escobedo and Bonano from Hofstra -ACCboy has Kjar you might get in a trade -he is a tough little SOB , lost 5-3 SV to Martinez yesterday -first year the NCAA is allowing Utah Valley to go to the nationals or he would have qualified twice -was 29-9 last year and could not wrestle His conference tournament or the NCAA's. He beat Sanders and Martinez over the summer .Russ

If you need a good 125 they are almost extinct -but the kid replacing Bedolyn -OPFER-was like 26-15 last year and with Bedolyn out until at least January -if not the year -OPFER is the man at KentState .He took Garnett into OT before losing 8-6.
Look on Kent States web site and the coach says ''Opfer will probably our guy this year .''

I was in a chat room at Earl's site and a Cal Poly guy swears Boris certified at 33 and Filip 141 -you might want to write the AD and find out for sure . I changed it on your roster as Filip is now ranked 19th at 141.

Thanks! We usually don't let the complaining bother us -- most of it comes from people who don't actually participate in the tournament. Selling out over 1200 entries in half an hour tells us we must be doing something right On the flip side, we don't get complacent and we know we can always improve some areas. What's annoying are the people that just say "make it 2 days" without having any idea what that would entail. Just not feasible at this time. But you definitely should try to come in the future, it's a pretty neat environment, especially when big matches happen in the semis/finals and we kinda shut down the other mats and people just gather in big crowds around the mat to watch. Flo has matches from the last few years posted, you should check some of them out.

Krom is gone !! your pick .

Haha well he wouldn't have gotten back to you anyway; I was going to take him 4 picks later. I wanted him pretty bad. I thought maybe I was taking him a little early, but I think I'll have the top 2 197s.

It was really, really hard to do since Morningstar beat Reader three times last year. 165 in the Big10 is brutal. Its a little easier in the B12 and I think Reader will win his conference where M* could get as low as third. Reader has been doing alot of wrestling overseas and training with alot of different people this offseason. I'm not sure that M* has. I know he's been wrestling but not as much live action as Reader. I also think that Reader is one of the guys on the Cyclones team that will really benefit from Bono and Jacksons intensity. In short. I think Reader may have improved enough to take M* when it counts this year. And he scored more bonus points than M* does. I hope I am wrong and I would gladly lose this fantasy league if it means that M* wins a title.

I don't really know that much. If we've gleaned one thing about Tom Ryan's philosophy, though, it's that if someone is good enough to start, he's going to start. I think our lineup will look something like this:

    125: Triggas
    133: Paddock
    141: Humphrey
    149: L. Palmer
    157: Nemec
    165: Sponseller
    174: Rella
    184: Pucillo
    197: Magrum
    285: Morrison/Hiles

Based on what what people say, it sounds like Hiles is the favorite for Heavy. I'll believe it when I see it, though. Like I said, I think Jameson will provide good depth for 149-157. Barring an injury to Humphrey or Lance, I would imagine Collin Palmer is redshirting.

Honestly, I wasn't surprised. Most games we lost last season were by one score, we could just as easily have been 8-4 instead of 4-8. Butch is awesome, but he's causing an uproar with the introduction of all the navy into the uniforms.

yeah, we've had some dancers compete in the Columbus Feis. It's a bit of a haul though to get up there. Since we have plenty of opportunities to compete and perform closer, it's hard to get motivated to go that far...
