    Default Elevator defense

Whats the defense for an elevator when your opponent counters your shot? I'm not totally positive but its like from a crack down position and they do a roll thing backwards? I've heard it called an elevator.

    YouTube - whizzer to elevator

Like the first move shown in the video below. It seems like a jv move but a kid i wrestle with gets me with it a lot, is there any way to counter it?

Keep your hips on the mat while you work your way up his body. Once you control his hips he won't have the leverage to kick you over, until then, keep one hip plastered to the mat and slowly crawl up his body.
