What is riding and types of riding?
I always read about "riding" in this forum, but never in practice. I think it is when the top person is controlling the bottom person with a certain body part like the tight waist. I don't know what ride I use. What I do like to do is have a tight waist and put a half in when the guy posts, and then turn it into a power half. The breakdowns I do are the tight waist and arm chop or the tight waist far ankle. I saw a video about cross throat rides. I like that, so I am going to practice that.
So my question is, what is riding and types of riding?
Also, on my latest match, my opponent was like pushing his forhead against my neck and that moved me forward and down. Is that a good breakdown? Then, I think he was kneeing my butt. Does that work well?
Thanks

Re: What is riding and types of riding?
Riding is pretty much a breakdown. Tight waist chop, spiral ride, leg rides, tulsa ride, etc. Basically just a breakdown. There a lot of types, I mentioned a few earlier.
My coach teaches us to keep their head down with ours when we can because it will make it harder for them to stand up if there head isnt up

Thanks, I will focus on mastering a few breakdowns, while keeping others in my arsenal for specific situations.
