russian 2 on 1 without head position
Can you do anything from a russian without head position? Against better guys i have gotten this but then had to let it go because they beat me to getting head position.

If you cant get head position and have the 2 on 1 still, just pull his arm as hard as possible (eg: if you got his left arm pull it towards you and far to your left side) to get that same side leg forward and drop down and grab that leg to start the take down. Its basically called an arm drag.

Foot sweeps still work well without head position, as do sags and various arm throws.

What do you mean by sag and can you give an example of a footsweep and armthrow

firemans carry with a 2 on 1. way more efficient than a firemans carry with an overhook. here's a plug for a russian coach on you tube.
