hello i need some advice i wrestle heavyweight in high school and this guy from a rival school is better than me and i have been training so hard to get ready for him is there any advice you guy can help me out with

to paraphrase alexander karelin, Train harder everyday of your life like he's never trained a day in his. hwt's tend to move slow and rely on the weight to wear down an opponent, work to get faster, increase your stamina, and believe that you truly are better than anyone else, the surprise should only be his when you beat him, you should already know the outcome when you step into the circle.

Change your mindset or quit .This -''He is better than me '' needs to be replaced with he was so much better than me -whatever your doing now add a 5 mile run in the morning with 15 minutes extra in the wrestling room with your coach-those 15 minutes will make ou 200% better -do anything to keep your pulse rate above 160 for 20 minutes extra a day -you'll notice a change in 2 weeks -guaranteed .
also , win or lose -he is not better than you -he may be a better wrestler but he is not a better human being than you are .

Those runs r.payton suggested once completed will change the self esteem which in turn removes the he's better than me thought. While on the road think about it. Start looking for some motivational quotes to help press. Here is a quote to start with.
