its called the oklahoma i believe
Ok Now I remember in the 2008 post season regional tourney, there was this wrestler and his coach was yelling at him to do a move called oklahoma. I can't tell if he did it or even attempted to or not. My only guess is that it's some type of roll but has anyone heard or seen this move? I went to youtube but no luck.

Re: its called the oklahoma i believe
I know of a move we called the Oklahoma cradle. Basically, you are on top of the guy and he is broken down. Then you get off to one side, say the right side. Reach your left arm between his head and left shoulder and your right arm under his right arm. Lock right under his right shoulder and squeeze it tight. Then walk your feet around to the right until he goes over.
Hope that helps.
You do the math..... I'll do the alfredo!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

i wish you had a video of that. when you say walk to the right it sounds like you are saying walk away from his head and pull him over you to get his shoulders on the mat.
and avallone yea i haven't seen that one. that may be it. I wish my coaches new what it looked like so i could be sure.

Are you going to any open mats in the Ricmond area? I know the Wildcat Wrestling club, All American among others are going right now. There are approx 10 tournaments from now untill the middle of November. Hitting some of those tournaments will give you an extra edge for the upcoming Season.
Raider Nation is having one this Sunday in Hampton @ Phoebus High School which should have a bunch of kids from VA Beach attending. The Flyer is located on www.centralregionwrestling.net if you are interested.

Let me try to explain it better. It's been so long since I've done it or seen it. Once you walk your feet away, you look like a "V" when viewed from the front. Your legs are away from his legs but your head is near his head. Then you hit it kind of like a regular crossface cradle - bring your feet up toward your head and take him straight back.
