I haven't tried it, but Sierra Nevada often has a limited range where they distribute. We can get most of it in select areas in Iowa.

Hi all -- I think someone on this site recommended Bells Oberon a long time ago. Finally found it, and it is indeed good stuff.

I've heard the Bells makes many good things. We don't get it in my neck of the woods though.

any recommendations for a good IPA? To be honest I haven't liked real hoppy beer in the past, which doesn't bode well for me liking IPAs, but I'm hoping the right beer will cause me to have a change of heart.

Nothing Zapp Brannigan likes more then an ice cold Yuengling Lager.

    SL,
If you have never had a Dogfigh Head 90 minute IPA, you should certainly try it. One of my absolute favorites. They're a bit pricey, but great. Stone Ruination is another favorite of mine, but is even hoppier than the DfH. Also had a Titan IPA from Great Divide not too long ago that was good. It is lower ABV, and not as hoppy, so may be more up your alley. IPAs and strong stouts are my favorites.

It has a bit of a limited range of distribution, but Summit IPA from St. Paul is the best IPA that I've had. Goose Island is good also, but a bit more hoppier than Summit.
