Hey Yazdani & Iranews, tomorrow, in the 1st round at 60 kg, your guy will meet the 2002 silver medalist Nepes Gukulov of Turkmenistan who hasn't shown up for the last 6 years. Do you remember him?
The guy who pinned Rangraz at the very end of the 1st period, exactly when Rangraz had the 10-0 lead and needed less than a second to be declared the winner by tf.
What to expect tomorrow?

I remember watching this online, what a mental lapse by Rangraz! Did a high gut or something and relaxed onto his own back. Looked like he was gonna cry.
Seems U.S. 60kg did not qualify. Karem Gaber won 96kg.

Rangraz thought that with the gut he had already won the match by tf (the score was really 10:0 or 11:0) and let up instead of finishing the gut. In that very moment, the referee gave him the point(s) for the gut but didn't immedeately interrupt the match to ask Rangraz whether he would like to continue wrestling or not. Obviously, he was going to do this in the next second, but Gukulov made use of that second - Rangraz got caught on his back.

2006 World Champ @ 96 kg Heiki Nabi of Estonia didn't even qualify for the Olympics. Crazy.
