Re: 2nd FS Olympic Qualifier Warsaw, Poland - Matches
I watched some matches by the74 kg South African. Pretty good wrestler- beat Blackmon this year I think and won the African championships. Is constantly attacking, because in South Africa they still penalize stalling. You can see the positive effects- some crazy scrambles in his quarterfinals- as well as the negative ones, when he gets tossed 3x with an arm throw by Greece. I know South Africa is no world powerhouse when it comes to wrestling, but the sport would be much more exciting if international referees officiated the way SA does.
ps does anyone know if South Africa has qualified 84 kg (freestyle or greco?)
