Very well could have been Serguet Rondon Pedroso, who used to compete for Cuba @ 66 kg. He was 4th in 2003 Worlds and teched Jamil Kelly in the tournament. He now competes for Venezuela.

Is this a trend now? Cubans who are not on the first team now wrestling for other South American countries? Just like former Soviets wrestling for other European and Central Asian countries?

Would make the Pan Ams and then Worlds a much more interesting tournament.

At 84 kg/185 lbs., Lee Fullhart (Colorado Springs, Colo./Gator WC) did not earn a medal, losing matches to 1999 World champion Yoel Romero of Cuba as well as an opponent from Canada.
